We Shall All Be Healed

Ugh, this cold is getting REALLY annoying. It's extremely uncomftorable to sit all day in class with dry snot that feels like rocks sitting in your nostrils. And yes, that was very disgusting, I know.

Speaking of disgusting, presidential politics takes another step forward tonight with the debates. Who will it be? Bush or Kerry? Or Bush and Kerry's other position, that is exactly the same as Bush's? Or Kerry's third position, that completely contradicts the first position he took, but considers his 4th position to be determined at the next debate.

Then again, it all depends on the issues. And yes, I'm still voting for the guy, hah. If I can ever get out of my stupid treasurer's meeting at 9 (normally i wouldn't mind, but since i watch so little tv, i get pissed when there is something I want to watch).

Dad comes tomorrow, so I'll be sure to get some pictures over the weekend, upload them to Kevnation (which I have till the end of January, then poof. goodbye.) Today has been a good day for the most part. I don't find out how I did on my economics exam until Tuesday, but whatever. I attended the LGBA with a friend today, because I do sympathize with the gay rights issue, and because it's a little more hostile here at Buff State then one may think. Or so I've been told.

After that, I got some chicken, and played chess with James outside (it was a nice day) on one of the picnic tables by our dorm, under some trees. He took 3 out of 4, but they were all good games.

Then I got on the inter-web for about an hour, just surfed around and listened to music. A lot of it, it was good. Then I took a nap. Got up, went to dinner, discussed politics with a bunch of friends -- foreign policy, education. You'd be surprised at how articulate a conservative democrat can be. Dave really makes the Kerry supporters look bad by his -- brash comments.

Closer and closer to that radio show. SLAAYYERRR.

I'm Kevin. I attend Buffalo State College in The Empire State. I'm your normal teenager who's secure enough in his masculinity to do things some people may find a little odd. My turn-ons include long walks on the beach, poetry, and percussion.

I enjoy the music stylings of (but NEVER limited to) Morrissey, Coheed and Cambria, The Marleys (bob to ziggy), The Heptones, The Toasters, Pietasters, Queen, Luciano, Junior Murvin, NOFX, Mountain Goats, Rufus Wainwright, Death by Stereo, Passion Worship Band, Switchfoot, Five Iron Frenzy, The Darkness, CSNY, Virginia Coalition, Alexisonfire, Hopesfall, Buju Banton, Bounty Killer, MF Doom, RJD2, Kool Keith, Aesop Rock, DJ Shadow, King Geedorah, Why?, Bright Eyes, Wilco, Tom Waits, Talib Kweli, Neva Dinova, Beastie Boys, and even Jay-Z.

I enjoy reading The Bible, Dan Brown, CS Lewis, John Steinbeck (favorite author), Dean Koontz, Stephen King, and Eugene Peterson.

I'm an avid poet (not so much anymore) and reader of poetry. My favorite poets are Stanley Kunitz, Alan Ginsberg, Tuli Kupferberg, Bret Hubinger (AACC Professor!), Walt Whitman, and Edward Thomas.
